Memorial Day 2009

We did all the big BBQ with friends stuff yesterday so today we just had a great low-key day as a family. The weather was a little icky but we snuck outside when we could. We got out the sand & water table for the first time this spring & played a lot of soccer. We had lots of good BBQ food, took a bike ride to the park, & then I surprised the boys by letting them decorate their own Memorial Day cupcakes. Boy, was that a hit with all three of them! :)

Happy Memorial Day and our sincere gratitude to those who have served and are currently serving. Thank you for all of the freedoms we enjoy in this great country! God bless America!
